Take that fancy rig off the beaten path and break out the big boots – Fall is in the air and Kamloops has space to play.

When that fall feeling hits, the adventure is on – wherever your feet (or wheels) take you. Hit the lakes and the links, or just find your new favourite trail. Make the most of our extended warm season with biking, hiking, golfing, and fishing in the Thompson Valley.  The trails are quiet, the greens are prime, and the lakes are calm...it's time to let that soul roam free.

Send those beauty bikes into the wild

It's time to put a little dirt under those tires – Kamloops has a trail with your name on it. As the birthplace of BC's freeride mountain biking scene – and home to the largest municipal bike park in Canada – the Kamloops biking landscape is iconic. Whether you're strictly downhill, looking for a technical playground, or just out to chill with the locals, fall is the coolest time to ride.

Hit the trails

Put some green on that driver

Dust off those clubs and tee off into the bonus days of fall in Kamloops. We've got sunshine on tap through to October, and late-season offers in abundance. With eight championship courses to choose from, Kamloops features one of Canada’s most diverse and exciting golf landscapes. You'll find a whopping 1,200-metre (3,900-foot) elevation gain between courses, with canyon views and wildlife encounters around every dogleg. It's time to hit the greens (or roughs) this fall.

Fishing BC

Bring those rods to a real lake

Send those flies into the wild and reel in the big one this fall at one of the 100+ lakes around Kamloops. Whether you're dock fishing with the kids or trolling the depths, we've got some of the best fall fishing in the BC interior. Pack the flannel and stock the tackle box to catch some rainbows this season.
