Riding Areas

Porcupine Ridge / Tranquille Bonaparte Plateau

The primary riding area for the Kamloops Snowmobile Association is Porcupine Ridge and the Tranquille Bonaparte Plateau. Featuring thousands of hectares of sub-alpine off trail boondocking and low slope terrain, nine warm up shelters, and numerous groomed trail loops. This region is safe for families to access and has a low to zero avalanche danger. Average elevations between 4500 and 6000 feet, with many meadow complexes to explore and get away from tracks.

Sun Peaks / Todd Mountain

Sun Peaks offers some great snowmobiling options as well. Sub-alpine terrain resembling the Tranquille plateau, with meadow complexes for boondocking and off-trail riding as well as fantastic mature forest tree riding for snow bikes. Access routes and shorter, family-friendly trail loops are regularly groomed.
