Children's Art Festival

Running for over 23 years, the Kamloops Children’s Arts Festival is a fun-filled, creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for children ages 2 to 12. The entire day is FREE for children and their families.

This spectacular festival is back for 2025! This year’s festival will feature all those loved activities from previous years – workshops, storytelling, magic, and performances from local groups!

Thanks to their supporters, the Children’s Arts Festival is 100% free to the public. This means the event sees a wide cross-section of the community, including children and families who may not otherwise be able to afford to participate in extracurricular arts activities.

Participating in the arts can have a tremendous impact on developmental growth. Learning artistic skills strengthens problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. It’s also a lot of fun – maybe too much fun for some!
