7 Holiday Coffee Sips

December 12, 2019

Crisp cold weather, twinkling lights, and festive spirit are all here in Kamloops, so that must mean the holidays are coming. Cozy up in a local cafe and sip on a seasonal coffee; from holiday-inspired items to wintry favourites that have a little extra spice to warm you up on a chilly day.
Kamloops is a growing wine destination. The first winery opened here in 2012 and over the last 6 years, has grown to include 175 acres under vine, four wineries producing award-winning varietals, and a Kamloops Wine Trail that is quickly attracting the attention of wine aficionados.
As the fall weather turns cooler, you can still eat local in Kamloops. On November 7, the Kamloops Farmers' Market launches its weekly Wednesday indoor market at St. Andrews on the Square. Find squash, carrots, beets, and more through December 19. “It’s a good place for visitors to take in the local community and shop for preserves, jams, and crafts,” says market manager Greg Unger.
